“The Pull” is about the struggle to find contentment when everything around us seems to be forcing us to compare and feel less…
The Pull
Sometimes I want what others have
I feel my heart get pulled
The blessings I’ve been given
Seem to look so worn and old
The grass, though it looks greener
Is often bought through pain and loss
I might not want what I desire
If I understood the cost
Why is it that I’m not content
With all that I hold dear
I’m rich in family, friends and life
There’s nothing missing here
Lord, help my eyes to see like yours
With holy clarity
To know I have just what I need
All, you have given me
